Why are some manifests not allowed to be edited or deleted?

A MANIFEST CANNOT BE EDITED OR DELETED IF IT HAS BEEN BILLED

In order to provide a trail of transactions and maintain the integrity of information, manifests cannot be deleted if they have been billed and an invoice created.

 
 
Pickups and On Truck Report (Partner Portal)
* Lists manifests for a requested time period
* Transactions marked as "Billed" do not have an "Edit" or a "Delete" Option
 
 
 
Edit Function (Driver Screen)
* Manifests previously billed do not offer "Edit" option
 
The only way to change a manifest which has been billed is to "Void" the invoice
 
 
Invoices Report

* Displays Invoices created for a given time period
* Voiding the invoice returns the manifest to "unbilled" status where it can then be edited.
