How do driver instructions and schedule notes work, and how are they different from each other?

There are a few different note behaviors that the office can control, and those notes are then viewable by drivers.

At the customer level, Driver Instructions are permanent notes that are always attached to the customer, and are always viewable by the driver when the driver pulls up that customer. Customer One-Time Notes operate the same way as Driver Instructions, except they will be deleted from the system after the customer is next serviced. When deleted, One-Time Notes are backed up for reference and viewable under that customer under the note category of Past Notes to Drivers.

Customers can have schedules, and schedules produce stops that are placed on routes. On a schedule level, a Schedule Note is a permanent note that is always attached to that schedule. If the schedule gets deleted, either manually or overnight if it is a one-time schedule, the Schedule Note will be deleted as well. A One-Time Schedule Note will be deleted after the next time the customer is serviced, according to their schedule. All schedule notes get backed up for reference when they are deleted, under the note category of Past Notes to Driver.
