How do I track Salesperson commissions?

Sales commissions can be set up and tracked using the Billing tab.

First, you will need to set up your sales people:

  1. On the Billing Tab, on the left side of the page scroll down to Billing Setup and click Salespeople.
  2. On this page, you can set the salesperson’s data. In the top section, you can add customers to create a custom commission rate for each customer.
  3. The salesperson commission is based on everything in the invoice, except for the tax.
  4. In the case of billing groups, setting a salesperson and commission amount will override any salesperson and commission for the individual members of the billing group. If you want each member of the billing group to have its own salesperson and commission, then leave these settings blank for the billing group.

After setting up your salespeople and servicing customers, you will be able to run the Sales Commission report, which can be found on the Billing tab, under Reports.
