Getting Started: Routing & Scheduling

Scheduling a customer.

To schedule a customer, click on Routing and Scheduling, Pickup Scheduling, and select your customer. This will take you to the customers scheduling page.

  • Select the service frequency. Selectable frequencies are one-time pickup, multiple times each week, or, every: week, two weeks, three weeks, four weeks, etc, or, twice a month, once a month, every two, every three or every four months. In this example, we will schedule this customer every two weeks.
  • Select the days available for pickup. These are all the days that the customer is available to be serviced, not necessarily the days you will service this customer on a regular basis. If you uncheck one of these days, then that customer will not be available to be rescheduled to that day, if you make a schedule adjustment.
  • Select the next pickup date this customer will be serviced. In this example, I selected October 14th.
  • Select the truck or service route for this customer. In this example, I selected the NYC Sprinter route.
  • Select the waste type that is being serviced. In this example, this customer is a shredding customer.
  • Enter the estimated time to service the customer, in this example, I entered that the driver will be at the customer's location for 20 minutes. The number of minutes that you enter is calculated into the total route time for that day.
  • Enter any schedule notes. A scheduling note is a permanent note that will always display on the customers profile in the driver's screen, and a one-time schedule note will show up only the next time this customer is serviced on this schedule.
  • Optionally, add in the services or items for this customer and the service/item quantity. In this example, four, twenty-four-inch security consoles will be serviced.
  • Optionally add in the customer's office hours. Office hours will display in the drivers screen.

Click SAVE or UPDATE in the service scheduling section, Notes section, and in the Office Hours section.

On the upper right side of the screen, you may view the customer service schedule for the next ten service dates, and separately the service dates for the next 30 days.
