Setting Up a Transporter

How do I set up or edit the transporter information

Transporter. Adding or editing your company information that displays on the Medical Waste Manifest, Shredding Certificate of Destruction, or service document.

Click Manage Manifest, Settings, and then transporter information.

To add a new office, click on Add Transporter Details

If this is the default office location for a waste type, check the Primary Transporter box.

Enter in the following:

  • Company Name
  • Phone number
  • Address, city, state, and zip
  • Email address to receive your copy of the manifests
  • Your emergency phone number
  • Registration, EPA ID, and DOT number if relevant
  • Your service radius to be found in CPNet
  • Select one or more service types for this location
  • Select one or more states ONLY IF THE PRIMARY TRANSPORTER BOX IS NOT CHECKED
  • Indicate if this location accepts waste from other companies

And click SAVE

It should be noted that there are two different types of offices, a primary office and a secondary office.

The primary office is the default location or your company’s main office. Secondary offices are usually for one or more specific states.

There can be multiple primary offices, one for each waste type. For example, there could be one office for medical waste, a different office for shredding, and a third office for solid waste.
